Our principal consultant is Stephan Fuller. We are personally and
professionally committed to the search for long term sustainable human development, and the conservation of global biological diversity and the natural world.
Our general approach is to engage in and utilize fully participatory methods in all phases
of project design, implementation and evaluation.
We are widely experienced in rural and remote environments and mountain ecosystems, engaging
with indigenous peoples and ethnic minorities, in the design of projects which are culturally
appropriate and respectful. A principal sub-specialty includes biodiversity conservation,
protected areas, and implementation of multilateral environmental agreements such as the
Convention on Biological Diversity.
Recent clients have included United Nations agencies (UNDP in Tajikistan, Bhutan, China, Bahrain, Russia, Eritrea, Lebanon, and in Iran); international development donors (The World Bank/Global Environment Facility(WB/GEF))
in China, Kazahkstan and Jordan; the Asian Development Bank in China and Afghanistan; the European Union in Afghanistan and the Ukraine;
the Government of Canada; the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA); IUCN; IISD; WWF and other
NGOs; and Canadian Indigenous Peoples organizations.
